New Tires!!!

With the new wheels are ready to roll I had to now fit them with wider wheels to stuff them under the flares. I had Falken Azenis tires on there before (which I loved!) as I wrote about on my ’04 Melee write-up. I wanted to find these tires again since they worked so well and cost so little... but alas they’re not made anymore (new one’s are available) and they don’t come in 225 50 15 that I’m looking for to stuff in the rear of the car.

I turned to Tire Rack for a good deal on rubber. I ordered a set of the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KD tires. I was thinking about getting the Drag Radials but felt for the driving I was doing it would be overkill. Plus they wouldn’t look right. They also make a R1 for the track which I would consider for track days... <sigh> so many things to consider. I’ll let you all know what I think of them.
