Wow... what a under taking. I didn’t know this was going to be as difficult as I thought. First off... I’m not sure what these brakes came from... so don’t ask. :D I bought a parts car that had these brakes and trailing arms on already... I’m simply swapping them over. Trouble is the swap wasn’t simple. It was a pain in the ass! A Royal pain in the ass!!!
Just by looking at the brakes they look like the front brakes off a Alfa Romeo GTV or Spider. They’re twin piston calipers.
The removal of the old drum brakes, including the old trailing arms was a nightmare. Read my other post about that process. JEEEEZZZUUUUUZZZ! It took forever!
Now that it’s all bolted up I need to find out if I’m going to need a proportioning valve or not. I also need to see if my brake master will be up to the task of pushing more fluid. Aaaaand... I now have no cable actuated e-brake. Do I go hydraulic or go without?
